This award winning contemporary take on a weatherboard cottage is located in Watsons Bay Heritage Conservation area. The project was a full rebuild which meant electrically everything was brand new.

The architect carefully selected trimless light fittings, switches and power points are all seamlessly blend into this beautiful new home. Trimless fittings and fixtures require a high level of attention to detail as the margin for error is high. If they are not perfect, they simply don’t work. Casambi smart lighting controls enable select light fittings to be controlled via smart phone.

Sustainability is also a feature with the house incorporating solar panels on the roof, electric vehicle charging, hydronic underfloor heating with electric heat pump. The hot water was also serviced by the three-phase electric heat pump. The open plan design and good cross flow ventilation means that air conditioning was not required.
